We offer a free of charge, Strength of Case Review for every rent review or lease renewal case that is referred to us. 

 

This service, which is both confidential and without any obligation whatsoever, enables both ourselves and our client to take stock of the current position, offers made, etc. The review takes the form of a ‘desktop’ study of financial and background information. A firm recommendation backed by a reasoned opinion is then issued. No charge is made for this service and there is no obligation as to any further ongoing relationship. Way back in 1993, David Morgan in the then trading name of David Morgan and Partners was the very first Specialist Licensed Property Firm to achieve the much sought-after Quality Assurance accreditation.

 

The standards associated with that achievement have been retained and indeed improved upon in the passing years to the extent that we now feel that we can be self-regulated being significantly in excess of ISO 2003 requirements.

 

We follow the strictures of the latest and regulatory RICS Professional Standards. We also rigorously ensure compliance by all staff, both internally and externally, with best industry working practices and the guidance of the code of standards of the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII). We recognise that the BII standards of training (PEAT) and proposals of cost-saving Dispute Resolution (PIRRS) are ideals that are compatible with our Quality Assurance procedures upon which clients can place reliance and assurance.

 

In accordance with RICS Regulations, the company operates a complaints handling procedure. 

 

 

Insight 

Our hands-on experience and professional involvement in the licensed and leisure property sector over many years has exposed us to a variety of cases, dealing with a large number of operators enduring the plight of their corporate landlord, or Pub Co. We publish regular topical articles, guides and expert tips, detailing the tricks, strategies and scenarios that face many tenants and lessees each passing year.

 

We aim to better prepare those facing potential David versus Goliath situations with our in-depth understanding of the trade.
